The 2014-2015 NFL season kicks off tomorrow night with the Packers taking on the Seahawks at CenturyLink Field in Seattle, the 3rd best NFL stadium according to SportsNaut.

I've never been there, but that stadium looks pretty amazing. But not as amazing as the two stadiums we usually venture to from Rockford.

SportsNaut is celebrating the new NFL season by ranking the best NFL stadiums and we can't agree more with the top two, Chicago and Green Bay.

Solider Field grabbed the #2 spot on the list based on the history of the stadium. It is the oldest stadium in the NFL, opened in 1924, and although it's been renovated a bunch, it's still a staple in sports history. I can also vouch that they serve really good hot chocolate in adorable Bears cups.

Lambeau Field in Green Bay is labeled the best NFL stadium on the list. They earned this spot based on the history of the stadium and the Packers, but also because of the atmosphere on game day Sundays. Football in Green Bay is like a giant college town.

And once you’re actually inside, the stadium itself is dripping with tradition."  - Sports Illustrated’s Peter Bukowski on Lambeau Field

The only two NFL stadiums I've been to are Solider Field and FirstEnergy Stadium in Cleveland, which comes in at number 25, so I can't give my opinion on the rest of the top 10, but you can!

Have you been to any of these? Do they hold a candle to Chicago or Green Bay?

  1. Lambeau Field (Green Bay)
  2. Soldier Field (Chicago)
  3. CenturyLink Field (Seattle)
  4. Levi's Stadium (San Francisco)

  7. Gillette Stadium (New England)
