Britney is Performing at the VMAs, Will We Get 2001 Britney or 2007?

Yesterday Britney Spears announced she will be performing at this year's VMAs, but we're left wondering which Britney we'll get this year.

Britney Spears is a 90s icon. Even better, she's a 90s icon that after having a huge breakdown managed to get back to the top.

But once we heard that Britney was taking the VMA stage later this month we had to talk about previous Britney VMA performances.

They were all pretty epic, but not all for the same reasons.

The most memorable being Britney and the giant yellow snake in 2001. Next memorable was probably Britney, Christina and Madonna making out in 2003.

But then came 2007 when Britney just looked like she was walking around in circles. This is the same year that she shaved her head and threw umbrellas at people, so maybe it was a stretch to even put her on the stage, but someone did.

So this year she can redeem herself with a performance to promote her upcoming album, "Glory." How do you think she'll do?
