Chicago Cubs Executive Balks At Bringing Cotton Candy Dog to Wrigley
Have you seen it yet? Please tell me you've at least seen it, because I know darn well you haven't tried it... the hot dog that's wrapped in a cotton candy bun and topped with nerds?
Take a look at this monstrosity.
According to MLB.com, the Erie Seawolves introduced this uncanny food combo for their "Sugar Rush Night," and as you might expect, it got the internet all grossed out.
But don't be so quick to judge just yet. Have you ever had a peanut butter and jelly burger? Sounds gross, I know; but when my boyfriend forced me to take a bite of his, I thought it was amazing.
Salty and sweet work very well together, so this sweet treat could be better than we think; we just have to find someone to make it.
It just won't be a vendor at Wrigley Field.
Steve and I had the opportunity to chat with Crane Kenney, President of Business Operations for the Chicago Cubs, and when I asked him if he would consider asking one of the hot dog vendors to bring this creation to Wrigley, he took a hard pass.
Take a listen.
I suppose we could always make one of our own?
Would you try it?
