As we head into the weekend, my boyfriend and I have started to make plans for another bike ride; we were talking about where we wanted to go and Starved Rock State Park came up. We went there on a whim a few weeks ago and didn't have much time to spend hiking and checking out all of the canyons so we thought about making the trip back.  It might be worth it just to see the amazing work one company did to remove the graffiti that was left behind by vandals on Memorial Day weekend.

After hearing that the park didn't have the funds to cover the removal costs, River Forest-based Conservation of Sculpture and Objects Studio Inc. donated their services to clean up the graffiti with high tech lasers.

What an incredible thing for this company to do. Too bad the park probably won't be able to catch the vandals and people have already mentioned the possibility of having bags searched before entering the park. All it takes is one bad apple to ruin such a beautiful experience for the rest of us.
