Country Thunder Releases Statement Regarding Wisconsin Festival
If we had a dollar for every time someone asked us if Country Thunder is still happening in Twin Lakes, Wisconsin, we'd be rich. Last night, Country Thunder made an announcement on the current state of the massive country music festival in Wisconsin.
Country Thunder has had to move the dates for a few festivals because of the coronavirus pandemic leaving many wondering what will be the scenario for their festival in Wisconsin event currently scheduled for July 16, 17, 18, and 19. This year's headliners are Miranda Lambert, Kane Brown, Dustin Lynch, and Keith Urban. Passes and campsites are still available (here). CT organizers' primary concern is safety for both attendees, their staff, vendors, and musicians and their crew.
Country Thunder Wisconsin continues to consult with state and local officials and health experts to determine whether Country Thunder Wisconsin can safely proceed in 2020. As always, the safety of our fans, partners, and staff is our priority.

As Country Thunder continues to navigate through this craziness, they will continue to post updates on social media. Q98.5 will also share any information we receive directly from the folks behind Country Thunder.
Like you, we are really excited about this year's line-up, including Riley Green, Neal McCoy, Granger Smith, Russell Dickerson, Tanya Tucker, and the headliner. While we hope the event happens as currently scheduled we understand the importance of safety. We will only share confirmed information and not "possible scenarios."
