Florida Gator Catcher Throws Out First Pitch at Cubs Game

Our Chicago savior for the week is a Florida man by the name of Frank Robb, also known as "Alligator Robb". He did the impossible this week. He managed to capture our very own Chicago gator "Chance The Snapper" after the creature had avoided being caught for a week.

So in order to show our thanks for catching our gator, Alligator Robb got to throw out the first pitch at Tuesday evening's game against the Cincinnati Reds at Wrigley Field.

Not to shabby Robb! According to WGN -

On Wednesday, Robb is expected to flip the switch at Buckingham Fountain.

I'd say all that's left on his Chicago bucket list is a selfie in "The Bean" and he's good to go back to the rest of the gators in Florida.

Thanks for your service and for giving us an end to a story none of us Illinois residents will forget.
