2020 will go down in history as one of the most eventful years ever. From a world-wide pandemic, to natural disasters, to celebrity deaths, this year has been a lot. And even saying that still feels like an understatement. This year has felt really heavy. I usually really look forward to Google's "Year in Search" because we get to see what everybody was curious about all year. And it's usually filled with funny trends, food we obsessed over, and other light-hearted stuff. However, 2020's "Year in Search" is unlike any other year we've seen before. I'll just let you know, it's emotional. The video that sums up the entire year's search is a roller coaster of emotions. So take a moment, get comfortable, and take a journey through this past year with this video. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rokGy0huYEA&feature=emb_title Did you even remember everything that happened this year? Watching that video reminds us of just how much has happened in 2020. It feels like five years in one to be honest. But along with the video, they also released their top search results. Here's some of the top 2020 Google searches in the United States.

What a year it's been. I feel like the "Where to buy" searches really sum up 2020 well. Face masks, hand sanitizer, toilet paper, PS5, and XBOX. Sounds about right. I think if anything, this year has taught us to be grateful for what we have when we have it. You don't know what news you'll wake up to this year, so that's why it's extra important to have gratitude. This year in search is unlike any other, but so was 2020.
