Two local soccer teams joined together to give a special little boy a memory that will last a lifetime.

Chase is battling cancer, for the second time. To lift his spirits a little, the Boy's Hononegah soccer team got Chase suited up in a uniform including his own jersey with his name and number on the back, and brought him on the field to play with them for a bit. Chase even scored a goal with the Indians and celebrated with the team. Auburn High School's team also joined in to make this moment possible. Lots of Hononegah students came out to support Chase as well.

His mom Angela Thurman says that the Roscoe and Rockton communities are the best and have really rallied and come togehter to support Chase, who is getting ready to undergo a stem cell transplant tentatively planned for the last week in October. This procedure will require him to be away from home for 75 days or more. Thurman also says they appreciate the support of their friends and family in and around their community.

I'm so incredibly proud of these two high school teams for taking the time to put a smile on this little guy's face.

Good luck Chase, we'll be praying for you.
