IKEA Is Finally Opening Its First Store In Wisconsin
The Swedish home furnishings company has announced their opening date for the first store in Wisconsin.
The new IKEA Store will be just off I94 near Milwaukee in Oak Creek, Wisconsin. The opening date is set for Wednesday, May 19 at 9 a.m., according to bizjournals.com. Store manager Samantha Gravina says,
We look forward to introducing customers here in Wisconsin to the Ikea experience and a whole new way of shopping.
Here are some of features of the new IKEA store in Wisconsin:
- 293,000 square feet
- 1000 parking spaces
- 300-seat restaurant
- Supervised play area for kids
And one more thing.
- Enough assemble-it-yourself furniture to dramatically raise Wisconsin's divorce rate.
I shall pray for each and every couple who attempts to assemble their furniture together. I hope you enjoyed your Swedish meatballs, because it's likely to be the last good taste that IKEA left in your mouth.
