A routine stop to get morning coffee turned into a major win for one Illinois resident.

Imagine going about your day, doing your normal route before work, and decide to switch things up and buy a lottery ticket.  Well, now imagine scratching off that ticket and seeing you just won a jackpot totally worth calling off work for—or forever.  It happened to an Illinois man just the other day!

An Illinois man turned his daily coffee run into a $2 million jackpot.  He stopped at Lenny's Gas 'n Wash in Shorewood, Illinois to get his usual caffeine fix and grabbed a $20 scratch off ticket while he was there.

As he starts scratching off the ticket, more zeros kept appearing on the winning ticket—until it hit $2,000,000.  Naturally, he couldn't believe what he was seeing. He went back to the store he bought the ticket from to double-check that he really won, and he did!  The gas station clerk even screamed when she saw the winning amount.

He rushed home to tell his wife, "I won two million dollars".  He said they plan on buying land and expanding his classic car collection—a passion project that he can take to a whole new level now.

Lenny's Gas N Wash isn't walking away empty-handed, though.  They're receiving $20,000 as a bonus for selling the winning ticket.

The winner chose to stay anonymous, but his winnings are put on blast for the public to see.  LIFE-CHANGING MONEY!  This isn't the first time an Illinois resident has won big.  Tons of players win on the app, too!  It happened to an Illinois woman recently.  She put in $2 and won $1M.  Pure luck.
