Illinois City Is One Of The Top Places For Weed In United States

If you're a fan of the "weed" and live in Illinois, you don't have to travel very far to visit one of the top "pot" cities in the United States.

The Residents Of Illinois Love Their Weed

Unless you've been living off the grid in a cave with no internet, then it's pretty obvious that the legalization of recreational marijuana in Illinois has been a huge success. Cannabis has been generating millions of dollars each month.

Plus, after taking a couple of years off for COVID, the "Land of Lincoln" was all in for the "420" celebration with parties, festivals, and events held throughout the state.

Where Does Illinois Rank In The World Of Weed?

Well, when it comes to how our state is ranked for marijuana, I think we need to focus on the world-class city, Chicago. We all know that as the "Windy City" goes, is where you'll find Illinois.

How Are The Top Weed Cities Rated?

The next question is... what factors go in to determine the ranking for the best weed cities?

Marijuana Laws... Illinois is all in, so we are good there.

Price of Cannabis... It's really expensive in Illinois, so that could hurt us.

Amount Of Dispensaries... That is another issue in Illinois, there aren't enough.

How Many Taco Bells... We've got plenty of those.

Music Festivals... One word, Lollapalooza.

Trails for Hiking... We are good there too.

Quantity of Head Shops... Seems like there are a bunch in Chicago.

Concert Venues... There are some legendary places in the Windy City.

Movie Theaters... Yep, Chicago has a bunch of those too.

How Did Chicago Do With Their Weed Ranking

For weed only being fully legal for just over two years, I think 15th is a pretty darn good showing. Congrats to Chicago. That's much better than the crime rankings.
