You don't see these kinds of things when you're a street level in the Forest City.

That was until YouTube contributor TY uploaded a video that he created after compiling video during Memorial Day weekend in Rockford.

Some of the shots of the city are pretty stunning and breathtaking, especially when capturing the Rock River.

The night time video also stands out as well. The city certainly came alive over Memorial Day weekend and it shows in the video.

I've always been skeptical of whether or not a drone is worth the money but this new video coupled with the amazing photo taken at the Nimtz Quarry is starting to make me a believer.
