Is That a Hippo in the Chicago River? [VIDEO]

As crazy as it sounds, there might be a hippo swimming around the Chicago River.

The video was shot a few days ago and posted to YouTube by user Chris O.

He has no other posted videos, so the validity of the video comes into question. Plus the guy taking the video didn't feel the need to...

There have also been no other reported sightings of the hippopotamus.

According to Chicago Now, hippos aren't also the most kind of animals. Hippos also weigh in at close to 3,000 pounds, so the chance of one guy seeing the "hippo" and no one else is pretty slim.

Nonetheless, it's cool. You can tell everyone that a hippo lives in the Chicago River, I tell everyone a walrus lives in the Rock River.
