Here's the latest update for expired vehicle stickers and driver's licenses for the state of Illinois.

Many things have been pushed off their normal schedule because of the pandemic. Sometimes it gets a little confusing. There are so many different reports from several sources. You just want to make sure you get it right.

Somethings can just be pushed off until much later when the world gets back to some sort of normal. Of course, actions that are considered legal or financial you want to double-check to make sure you are taking care of them correctly.

One thing I think we all want to do correctly is making sure we drive legally. The DMV offices were closed for several weeks and drivers are trying to get their expired licenses taken care of. The lines have been huge so the Secretary of State has been extending the deadlines. It's been changed a few times, so what's the latest update. Don't worry, I have you covered.

I think waiting is your best bet. The line is usually many hours long. Here's a little tip. If you need to just renew your license or get a sticker, go to the Auburn Street location. That's what I did and it took 20 minutes. Unfortunately, beyond those two simple requests, bring a snickers because you aren't going anywhere for a while.
