Illinois Fair Searching For Parent-Child Look-A-Like Contestants

If you think you look just like your mom or dad, you might want to enter this Look-A-Like contest at the Boone County Fair this August.

I love these types of contests.  I wish I could enter a Look-A-Like contest with my mom or dad, but I actually looked adopted - straight up don't resemble either of my parents.  Okay, that's a lie.  People say I look like my mom with my dad's complexion, but I couldn't pass as my mom's doppelgänger.  That'd be cool, though!

The Boone County Fair is August 6th through August 11th in Belvidere, Illinois.

With all the attractions, carnival, live music, entertainment, and pageants, there's one contest you can't miss:  The Mother/Daughter and Father/Son Look-A-Like Contest!

If you look like a spitting image of your parents, you have a good chance of taking it all.  On Thursday, August 8th at the Boone County Fair, you can sign up at the Entertainment Pavilion for free.  Judging starts at 7pm and if you win, you're $50 richer!

Don't worry, second place takes home $40 and third place takes $30.  If only there was a father/daughter Look-A-Like contest... now that'd be interesting!
