A teen cancer patient's therapy dogs routine has turned into a Facebook sensation.

If you spend a lot of time trolling your Facebook news feed, I'm sure you've noticed that you can see other people posting and sharing things on other people's walls.  Over the last week or so, I've seen a few friends sharing photos of their dogs on the Facebook page, "Photo Doggies For Anthony".

I was curious, so I did a little research and found out there's a touching story behind the page.

16-year-old Anthony Lyons was diagnosed with acute lymphoblastic leukemia last summer and has been undergoing chemotherapy at Phoenix Children’s Hospital. His treatments are quite draining and one of the things that brightens Lyon's day is: dog therapy.

Unfortunately, the dogs don't visit the hospital everyday, so to help him on days that the dogs are out, his family created "Photo Doggies For Anthony".

Thousands of strangers have already posted photos of their dogs on the page, along with words of encouragement and personal stories about cancer.

If you have a dog, it only takes a few seconds to share a photo of your pup for Anthony. You can do so by clicking the link above.
