Miracle Mile Rockford is Hosting a ‘Curb Fest’ This Weekend
This COVID-19 pandemic sucks, but I'm so proud of how Rockford is coping with it. We're focusing on shopping locally, staying home, and ordering curbside pickup more than ever before.
Our communities and businesses may be preparing to reopen, but our support will mean even more in the days ahead. Shops and restaurants desperately need us to continue our commitment to shopping locally if they have any hope of staying afloat post-pandemic.
As Rockfordians we need to dig in and find our new favorite local businesses and eateries, and thankfully, Miracle Mile Rockford is giving us the perfect opportunity to do that this weekend. It's called "Curb Fest" and it will feature fun virtual ways to support businesses in Rockford that we may not have been to before.
Here's how it's going to work according to the Miracle Mile Curb Fest event page on Facebook;
Tune in to our FB event page on May 15th from 6 - 8pm and click on the Discussion tab. Every 3 - 5 minutes we will be featuring a different business. Like, Share or post a comment to be entered into the drawing for our Miracle Mile Shopping Experience packages. Each package contains a collection of gift cards from the participating businesses. After the evening is over, we will choose winners from all of the posts received.
So . . . . . Grab supper from your favorite Miracle Mile restaurant and sit back and enjoy touring the awesome businesses and their special offers.
On top of prize giveaways, local food trucks and shopping from will be highlighted in Rockford on Friday and Saturday, so please set aside some time this weekend to be a part of it!
