I think most people will agree with me when I say finding ways to keep the family entertained this summer is a bit tougher than usual.

After being cooped up in the house for weeks while the weather was still cold, my kids have played with every toy, game, and puzzle we have in the house. They've watched all the movies. Now that it's finally summer, getting outside to play on the swingset and swim in the blow-up pool was a welcome relief, but I think the luster of those things is beginning to dim as well.

My point here is this; my family needs different things to do and I'm thankful things are beginning to reopen in our state so we can actually go have some fun outside of our home's lot lines.

What I love even more though, is when that fun includes free admission!

In case you saw the "free admission" part of that announcement and then forgot to read the rest of the announcement, (totally me),  let me remind you that the Museum will be operating at 25% capacity, so tickets, including free tickets, must be reserved in advance here.

All guests over the age of 2 will be required to wear face masks, which would normally deter me from going only because I don't want to hear my kids whining about them all day, but now I'm looking at it as a way to prepare them for the wearing-a-mask-all-day school year ahead. Double win!
