Nearby Mall Taking Reservations to Sit on Santa’s Lap

Seeing Santa at the mall is a fun holiday tradition. Waiting in line to see him is a pain.

This year, Woodfield Mall in Schaumburg is trying to make your Santa experience a little better than it has been in the past, with Santa's lap reservations.

Much like websites where you can reserve a table at a restaurant online, Woodfield is allowing you to chose your time and day to see Santa this holiday season online from the comfort of your home.

From now until December 23, you can make your reservation for Santa with their online scheduler.

It isn't completely free though, it will cost you $10, but, that $10 can be used toward a photo package after you see Santa. If you're a no show, they keep your money.

It's been quite a while since I've sat on Santa's lap but I have lots of little nieces and nephews that I would be much more wiling to take to see Santa if I could reserve a spot instead of dealing with keeping them in line.
