Rockford's midtown got a new ice cream shop this summer and it's packed with unique delicious items.

Kimberly's Homemade Ice Cream, 528 7th St, Rockford, popped up in Midtown this summer.  It's named after the owner's daughter, Kimberly, and everything in the store is homemade.

From the ice cream, to the waters, Kimberly's owner, Norma, and her family work together behind the scenes to churn out great flavors.

Though the ice cream flavors themselves are unique, what the Kimberly's team does with the ice cream is even more exciting. The mangoneada is one of those exciting concoctions.

You just have to try Chamoy for yourself to understand.

You also need to try the gansito ice cream. We promise you'll love it.
