Penguins Steal The Show During Steve Shannon Show Zoom Meeting

The Brookfield Zoo isn't open for in-person visits right now, but that's not stopping them from educating the public AND giving them inside looks at the animals. The Steve Shannon Show got the chance to Zoom (is that a verb now?) with Tim Sullivan from the Brookfield Zoo while he hung out in the Humboldt Penguin exhibit.

We got to ask Tim all about the programs they're offering right now for people to still stay connected with the Zoo. Some of the awesome things their offering that will being going on until the zoo reopens includes -

• Brookfield Zoo’s animal care specialists present “Bringing the Zoo to You” Facebook Live chats on weekdays, Monday-Friday, at 11:00 a.m.
• Animal care staff also do live chats on Instagram at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesdays and Thursdays.

Once the zoo is fully opened without restrictions, guests can sign up for Penguin Encounters for an up-close experience with some of the zoo’s penguins. And after watching them swim around behind Tim during our Zoom call my new 2020 goal is to meet a penguin.
