Rochelle Teen Uses Her Prom Dress to Honor Fallen Veterans

A student at Rochelle Township High School not only looked beautiful at her school's Prom on Saturday, but she made a beautiful statement as well.

According to WIFR, Aubrey Headon of Rochelle decorated her prom dress with 25 ribbons, and on each of those ribbons was the name of a fallen Marine from 3rd Battalion, 5th Regiment out of Camp Pendleton, California. The result of this effort was not only beautiful, but powerful too.

You should be proud, Aubrey, what you did was so inspiring. I hope you had the time of your life on Saturday night, you deserve it!
