Noah's Ark Animal Sanctuary in Rockford, Illinois is letting you take their adoptable pets on field trips this year, and it's the cutest idea ever.

If you can't adopt a dog right now but would love to hangout with one for a few hours, this is your sign to join the new program they just launched.

Noah's Ark shared to Facebook that residents can now take their adoptable pets on field trips to get them out of the shelter for a few hours!  It could be a fun car ride adventure, going on a hike, spoiling them with a pup cup, or just cuddling at home watching a movie, help these pups become more social and ready for a new home!

Not only will getting these dogs out of the shelter be a great way for them to see the real world, but it helps make them way more adoptable.  They show you their real personality, they interact with other humans without being confined to a kennel, you get to see how well you do with a dogs before going through with a full adoption.

Field trips are now available Sundays through Fridays.

Tuesdays-Fridays 8am-12pm

Sundays-Mondays 8am-2pm

Really, it's a win-win!  Dogs get to stretch their legs, go on an adventure, you get an adorable furry companion, and who knows—you might fall in love and end up with a new best friend.  What a fun way to spend a day off, right?!
