Friday Night Flix Returns This Weekend To Downtown Rockford

If you know Rockford, you know Friday Night Flix is a pretty big deal.  Free admission, delicious snacks for purchase, and a fun time with the entire family.

When Friday Night Flix came to downtown Rockford in 2010, you bet I was there! I was on the front page of the Rockford Register Star newspaper on June 25th, 2010 for the opening night of this spectacular event - I was only 13 years old and thought it was the COOLEST thing ever!!!

Since then, it has been so successful and stuck around for 12 years.  Well, it's returning to Davis Park this weekend and it's a movie night you definitely don't want to miss!

FRIDAY NIGHT FLIX

Returning to Davis Park on June 3rd, July 1st, and August 5th!  The park will open at 7pm.  SING 2 plays on June 3rd, A League Of Their Own on July 1st, and Encanto on August 5th.

Pepsi in the 815 will serve refreshing BUBBL’R samples & Frito Lay is providing free chips to the first 500 attendees!

Concessions will be available for purchase and moviegoers are also welcome to bring their own food and non-alcoholic drinks. - GoRockford

Remember to bring your own lawn chairs, blankets, and get there early to get the PERFECT spot on the lawn to watch some family favorites on the big screen.  Once the sun goes down, the party is on!

Bring your friends, family, and everybody you want to spend a warm Summer night with eating junk food and watching movies everyone in your party will enjoy.  Takes lots of photos, too!  You don't want to forget a night full of laughter and smiles.
