Rockford Mayor: 50% Rebate on Liquor License Fees for Restaurants and Bars (Details)

According to Rockford Mayor Tom McNamara, at Monday's City Council meeting, something positive for local bars and restaurants will happen. As local establishments get handed another set of rules from down state, thankfully Mayor McNamara is stepping up and willing to help them.  From Mayor McNamara's Twitter:

As restaurants and bars continue to get smacked around and "carry the brunt" as the mayor says, hopefully this will help out these business owners.

While Rockford and surrounding communities deal with these new rules, please continue to order carry out and curbside orders when and where you can. Let's try to help these establishments as much as possible, like the mayor is doing.
