DUH! There's nothing quite like the first time you eat these Rockford-made cheddar fries.

Did you know that today (4/20) is National Cheddar Fries Day? When you live in Rockford , Illinois, you know how special this particular 'day' is. We live in a part of the world where there's Beefaroo, and they just happen to make the best cheddar fries on earth ( I slipped that in there so we can justify having more fries on Earth Day).

I can taste them now. The grease, the salt, the cheese...mmmm. Do you know what I'm talking about? If you don't, that's a shame. It's the ultimate comfort food, Cheddar Fries from Beefaroo. With it being National Cheddar Fries Day. It's the perfect excuse to treat yourself to a large order of this delicious snack and not feel one ounce of guilt about it. I know I'm not going to. I mean, there's no way it can count since its a national day, right? I've always loved cheese on my fires. Maybe it's because I'm from Wisconsin, or maybe it's because cheese is just awesome. Either way, if you don't have lunch plans for yet, call up a friend and make a lunch date. Or just go through the drive thru. That's probably what I'll do on my way home from work.

Do you remember the first time you had Beefaroo's cheddar fries? When Mandy became part of The Steve Shannon Show, it was the first place we took her.

Because there's almost no better food than french fries, here's a few more videos of me running around town trying other great fries.
