Rockford Woman Stars In Two National Commercials

One year ago this month, I posted a TikTok that changed my life completely. I shared how my coworker saw my bank account and asked, "How are you surviving off $25 with payday two weeks away?" It was a raw, vulnerable moment, and little did I know, it would resonate with millions of others around the globe.

The video went viral within days and racked up over 2.4 million views. It literally hit the
"broketok" community, aka people living paycheck to paycheck just like me.

The video caught the attention of a company whose mission aligned perfectly with my story. They reached out and offered me opportunities to create social media ads for them. I agreed because I knew my story was impactful.

After that, things took an unexpected turn in my life.

They invited me to film two commercials! I've never acted in my life, so I was nervous as hell to say yes! I flew to Arizona, then to Oregon to bring these commercials to life.

I'm actually so happy with how they turned out (considering I'm my own biggest critic!).

In a short period of time, I went from eating ramen every day to seeing a brighter future for myself. Being open and honest about my financial struggles not only connected me with an audience in the same boat, but also led to incredible opportunities.

These commercials give me chills every time I watch them. They’re a testament to how far I’ve come since September of 2023. I feel unstoppable now, and I’m beyond grateful how a 25 second video changed the entire trajectory of my life.
