Congratulations Amie Walker from Bloom Elementary School in Rockford, Illinois

She has been a fantastic teacher to my kindergartener. My daughter has always taken a very long time to warm up to people and something about Mrs. Walker made her feel so at home and comfortable. Mrs. Walker gives such mom vibes, and my daughter has thrived
so much since joining her class this school year.

I’m one of those helicopter moms who worries about her kid all day long while at work, did my kid eat their lunch, are they still hungry, are they using the bathroom when they need to.. but every time I’ve messaged Mrs. Walker, she has replied so quickly and
with such compassion and understanding. She never makes me feel like I’m a bother or like it’s a hassle to answer any questions and always puts my mind at ease any time it’s not. My daughter loves her and she has learned so much in this short amount of time
already. Thank you, Mrs. Walker! You’re amazing!
