Healthy Lifestyles And Humor Are Why Students Love Learning from This Rockford Teacher

This week’s 97ZOK Teacher of the Week is more than just an educator; he's a beacon of support, laughter, and healthy choices for his students at Guilford High.

Congratulations to Nathan Green from Guilford High School in Rockford, Illinois

Olena Saenz nominated Mr. Green, she writes,

I want to nominate Mr. Green my health teacher. He's been teaching for 12 years and never got recognition for the hard work that he puts in for his students. He is one of Guilford's health teachers and everybody that he taught has had a better understanding on how to keep our bodies healthy, how we can live a good lifestyle, and how we can make responsible choices. Not only is he a great teacher but he makes students feel very comfortable. Like we can come to him with anything. He also knows how to make students laugh when they are struggling with something or overall is having a bad day.

Most students only have him for a semester but you will find students wishing they could be in his class again. He makes health easy to learn and understand and I would say he is one of the best teachers at Guilford Highschool.
