Congratulations to Shannon Fisher from Prairie Hill Elementary School in South Beloit, Illinois.

Mrs. Fisher is an amazing kindergarten teacher who truly goes above and beyond for her students every single day. She creates a warm, caring classroom where every child feels safe, loved, and encouraged to be themselves. Her patience and kindness help her students build confidence, especially as they navigate school for the very first time.

What sets Mrs. Fisher apart is her creativity. She turns learning into an adventure through hands-on activities, imaginative lessons, and engaging projects that make her students excited to come to school. She understands that young children learn best through play, exploration, and connection, and she thoughtfully designs lessons that meet each child where they are.

Mrs. Fisher also has a remarkable ability to see the whole child.
