The Cubs Will Wear Special Shiny Uniforms for the Home Opener

When you win the World Series, you have to celebrate during the next season.

It's crazy to think baseball season is starting in a few weeks. I'm so excited because I'm going to one of the first games of the season on April 14.

The Cubs will be back to their normal jerseys that day, but, for the two first home games of the season, they'll be decked out in gold.

On Twitter, the Cubs announced they will have special gold letters and numbers on their home opener jerseys, to celebrate being the BEST TEAM IN BASEBALL.

You can quote me on that last line, but you and I both know the Cubs are feeling the same.

According to NBC Chicago, you can buy one of the gold jerseys at the Cubs Team Store on Michigan avenue, and online.
