The Lady Gaga Wrigley Field Show in Chicago Postponed to 2022
Not saying I don't understand the reasoning for the postponement, it's just I'm going to be so over the show by the time it gets here.
CHROMATICA BALL IN CHICAGO
In case you didn't know, Lady Gaga announced she was taking The Chromatica Ball on a world tour in March of 2020.
Hindsight being 20/20, Lady Gaga probably picked the worst time to announce a major tour just days before a global pandemic would take over our lives for the next 15 months.
WHAT'S THE REASON FOR THE DELAY IN 2021?
So while most of us have been vaccinated, there are plenty of others who aren't. After all, it's not like the World Health Organization decided to stop referring to COVID-19 as a pandemic, so officially, it's still a thing.
When you look at it like that, you have to understand why Lady Gaga did what she did.
In a special message from Lady Gaga, she said:
While some parts of the world are moving quickly to open up, others are not yet ready. So until we can confirm all global dates, we have to postpone The Chromatica Ball shows to the summer of 2022.
WHAT IF WE JUST WANT OUR MONEY BACK?
If you're wondering if you're ever going to actually use those tickets you purchased, well, you're not alone.
So now that the show for Friday, August 27 is postponed, what if you're just over it and want your money back?
Well, since the official postponement date was announced on June 2, she has 60 days to announce a new show day. If that doesn't happen, you will have a 30-day window to get a refund.
I sure hope it doesn't come to that but if I've learned anything over the past year and change, I just hope for the best but expect the worst.
