Monday (6/10) night, Rockford's City Market Pavilion hosts an NBA Finals Game 5, jumbo screen watch party. Come cheer on Fred and the Toronto Raptors.

What a night Monday could be. Auburn High School's Fred VanVleet and the Toronto Raptors have a 3 games to 1 lead over the Golden State Warriors, in the NBA Finals. If they win Monday night, the Raptors will have won their first championship in the history of the franchise.

Just outside the Raptor's arena is an area fans come to watch the games on jumbo screens and cheer their team on. That area is called Jurassic Park. On Monday night, the space we know as City Market, becomes know as Jurassic Park RKFD.

"There's a lot of buzz and excitement around town about the finals. As he has done since his days at Auburn, Fred continues to make Rockford proud. We invite everyone to attend and help us celebrate Fred’s amazing run in the NBA championship games,” said RACVB President/CEO John Groh. “We are cheering for Fred, for the Toronto Raptors and for Rockford!”
