Winnebago County Sheriff’s Office is Hiring Corrections Officers

Here's everything you need to know and how to apply for a corrections officer position with the County.

If you're at least 21 years old, with a high school diploma (or equivalent), have a valid drivers license, and no felony convictions or any crime that could keep you from basic police training or legally possessing a firearm, you're a qualified applicant, according to wifr.com

Qualified applicants will need to pass a physical fitness test, as well as:

• A written test
• Oral exam
• Background investigation
• Psychological assessment
• Medical exam
