You Can Now Watch Winnebago County Board Meetings Online

Many watch auto racing for the crashes or hockey games for the fights. What will be your reason for watching a County Board meeting? Perhaps the same reasons.

Starting Thursday, March 10 all Winnebago County Board meetings will be streamed live. In all seriousness, this is a nice move toward becoming more transparent to all who live in the county.

According to a story recently published at WREX.com, the meeting's stream can be accessed 3 different ways, but as of today (3/8) the only option ready to go is Here. It's safe to assume that those other two options will be ready in time for the first live stream on March 10th. The plan is for these sites to also have an 'archived' section to watch meetings after the live stream is completed.
