Thanks to Governor Quinn, you can now keep your drivers license after a traffic citation in Illinois. A new law was passed ending the practice of posting a valid drivers license as security for a traffic ticket. Now, the motorist's signature on the citation is all that is needed. CAUTION to residents of Dekalb
Dekalb police are urging residents to be extra safe after a group of people were overheard over talking about committing robberies around the Hillcrest and Annie Glidden Road area. Police are working with Northern University Police to step up patrols.
Don't Buy This Stuff for Your College Student
A lot of us are sending our kids off for their first semester of college and have a list a mile long as to what they need. Here are something's you can leave off the list. -A TV. Most kids these days watch most of their stuff off of I-Pads and computers, so a TV is really unnecessary. -New clothes can wait, especially if they are a freshmen. Let's be real...they'll probably gain weight, so buy them a few new things, but stay away from buying them a whole wardrobe.
