A Peanut Butter Doughnut Is Taking Over the Internet, But You Have to Drive An Hour to Get One
Excuse us, but we really need to get this doughnut shop back in Rockford, please.
Why oh why did the Rockford Krispy Kreme have to go away?
One of the biggest food stories on Facebook this week is that of the Krispy Kreme Peanut Butter Doughnut.
Krispy Kreme describes the new item as, 'filled with a REESE’S® Peanut Butter Kreme™, dipped in milk chocolate icing, topped with a REESE’S® Peanut Butter Chip and chopped peanut blend, and finished with a drizzle of chocolate and peanut butter.'
It's ok if you just drooled on your screen, we won't tell anyone.
Seriously the PB doughnut hysteria is legit.
But, since the Krispy Kreme location on Broadway doesn't exist anymore, you have to drive to Elk Grove village to get your hands on this new dessert delight.
On the plus side, you can grab the most popular pizza in Illinois while you're on your doughnut trip.
