Aaron Rodgers Heads to ‘Ellen’ to Surprise a Wisconsin Teacher
Teachers impact children every day, but one Wisconsin teacher is literally saving lives.
One teacher in Madison, Beth Battista, is more than just a great teacher. She is giving her kidney to one of her preschool students.
This is such a great story coming from "The Ellen DeGeneres Show," and it's not only about an awesome teacher, Aaron Rodgers got involved too.
While I will always be a Bears fan, I'm still kind of a fan of Aaron Rodgers. Not for his quarterback skills, but for his work off the field.
This is a perfect example.
Beth ended up being a match for Lyla, her four year old preschool student who needs a kidney transplant.
Lyla's mom wrote to Ellen about Beth's amazing donation and since Beth (and Ellen) are huge Aaron Rodgers fans, Aaron recorded a message for Beth and offered her family a trip to a Packers game and a chance to meet him.
So sweet, we wish them all the best of luck.
