Technology really can do anything, including giving us the ability to ice skate outside in the summer.

Chicago's Navy Pier is celebrating a huge birthday this year, it's turning 100.

In addition to the new Centennial Wheel, Navy Pier has now announced that there will be an outdoor ice skating rink set up in the area this summer.

Yeah, how weird but awesome is that? An outdoor ice skating rink in the summer! Not just any summer, a hot steamy Chicago summer.

The rink will open tomorrow, Friday June 10, and stay open through the summer. If you want to "Skate By the Lake," it will cost you $10 if you have your own skates and $15 if you need to rent them. The rink will be open from noon to 10p.m. every day.
