The Most Beautiful Home In Illinois Is From Popular TV Show ‘Empire’

I don't know what it is about Barrington, Illinois but this city has homes that you just can't find anywhere else in the state.  Like this one I found!

If you ever wonder if a lot of houses and mansions from TV shows or movies are real OR if they're movie sets, this house I'm about to show you is 100% a real home.  This home served as the Lyon’s Den on “Empire”, which made its appearance in 2015. It was home to the fictional character in the show, Lucious Lyon, his wife, Cookie and their entire family. 

BARRINGTON, ILLINOIS ESTATE

This estate is over 17,500-square-feet and sits on 8 acres of gorgeous land.  It was named 'Most Beautiful Home For Sale in Illinois' by Architectural Digest.

It eventually went on the market and sold in 2021 for almost $8M!  The 6-bedroom, 11-bathroom mansion is fit for a very wealthy buyer... maybe for a CEO?  Famous actor?

What blows my mind is there are 2 lakes on the property and you can't see anybody from the road and nobody can see you; the ultimate privacy.  This is probably the one place you can walk around naked with all your windows open like nobody is watching!
