Cronies Says They Will Close In Heartfelt Note To Customers
Cronies Grill was the scene of a murder on October 6 at around 1 a.m., the incident rocked the area leaving many wondering the fate of the beloved waterhole.
In a heartfelt message, Cronies announced they will be permanently closing after more than a decade in business. Cronies owner, Tom Bent Sr. said it has been an honor and privilege to serve Machesney Park and the surrounding area. He continues with how hard it was to come to this decision.
This has not been an easy decision to make, but I would like to sincerely thank all of our great customers for their support and the people and leaders of Machesney Park for creating an environment that has been a great place to do business.
The note mentions many of Cronies' past events, benefits, and concerts, along with gracious thanks given to past and current employees. Hopefully, this isn't the end of Tom Bent Sr.'s bar-owning adventure, he truly spearheaded a great atmosphere. The entire note is posted below.
