Dixon Man’s Car Has Gotten The Country Talking About Mental Illness

A local man and his two friends have been touring the country trying to raise awareness for mental illness and have a car that's gotten nationwide attention.

Patrick Taylor's Mental Illness Tour, by the end of the summer, will have reached 48 states. And for this recent college grad, the whole tour has been in his chicken car, according to wifr.com.

This vehicle has been the 'ice-breaker' that has gotten people to open up and talk about this very difficult subject. These 3 young men have made an incredible impact across the county, getting people to talk about mental illness and the signs that someone they love may be struggling. Often those who suffer from some type of mental illness don't even know they're affected. This subject is close to their hearts and that was the driving force behind this Summer-long tour.
