Anderson Gardens to host Halloween events for kids this week.

Halloween has always been one of my favorite holidays. It's especially fun for the children. Unfortunately, like everything else in 2020, it won't be business as usual. There will be many restrictions in place with many annual activities canceled.

Once again, creative thinking in Rockford will help save the day from being a total bust. A big thanks to Anderson Japanese Gardens for stepping up to the plate. They are going to be hosting events for children this week.

According to andersongardens.org,

"Anderson Japanese Gardens welcomes all ghouls, goblins, superheroes, and princesses to enjoy the Gardens for haunts and treats. This week-long socially distanced variation of Spook-Tacular Haunts starts Monday, October 26, and runs through Friday, October 30. All children in costume receive FREE admission and one pre-packaged bag of treats during regular Garden hours."
Plus, there will be special guests from Hoo Haven on Wednesday and Friday from 3 pm to 5 pm. Another great place in Rockford.
In addition, you'll be able to enjoy this beautiful place and all the fall colors.
Happy Halloween!
