Illinois Consumers Are Safe from Lay’s Classic Potato Chips Recall
Earlier this month, Frito-Lay issued a limited recall of 13-ounce Lay’s Classic Potato Chips, according to a notice from the Food and Drug Administration.
Nearly 6,344 bags were recalled, and luckily, it doesn't affect all states in the country. Here's what you need to know if you do have Lay's in your kitchen.

Frito-Lay said the chips "may contain undeclared milk" after a consumer alert. The FDA warned that those with a milk allergy or sensitivity could face a serious or life-threatening reaction if they consume the affected chips.
As of yesterday, Frito-Lay reported that there have been no reports of any allergic reactions.
"Frito-Lay issued a recall for a limited number of 13 oz. bags of Lay’s Classic Potato Chips that may contain undeclared milk," the company said in a statement. "The product included in this recall was distributed in Oregon and Washington. No other Lay’s products, flavors, sizes or variety packs are recalled." [source]
