At one point in my life, I was convinced that Illinois changed its official state flag to a road construction sign because it seems like the highways are always under construction. These aren't little projects. They usually last for years. Remember when I-90 from the Wisconsin border to O'Hare Airport was torn apart? That was a huge headache trying to get in and out of Chicago. Get ready because highway work in Chicago is starting again.
