The work will involve a thin layer of asphalt emulsion blended with finely crushed stone, placed in two layers, to extend the life of the roadway.
Temporary Parking Restrictions
During the application process, roads must be cleared of parked cars, and driveway access will be temporarily limited.

Streets will reopen to traffic within a few hours of being treated, depending on temperatures. Residents should look for "No Parking" signs and door hanger notices about the alternative parking arrangements.
First Streets Scheduled for Work
According to the press release, the following streets are scheduled for work between September 17 and September 19, 2025:
- Brett Place from Garrett Lane to Samantha Lane
- Karls Court from Garrett Lane to Samantha Lane
- Madeline Trail from Garrett Lane to Samantha Lane
- Tramore Lane from Tralee Drive to N Trainer Road
- Trowbridge Lane from Royal Oaks Road to Brixham Road
- Shingle Oak Lane from Royal Oaks Road to Brixham Road
Funding for the Project
The project is funded by the Illinois Department of Transportation Motor Fuels Tax, which ensures cost-effective roadway preservation without burdening taxpayers.
