If a guy has ever called you intimidating, take it as a compliment.

This one time, I heard I was intimidating. I was all like, "wait, what? Me? Are you sure he was talking about me?"

Then I read this article in Glamour and I was all like, "ooooooooooh. So that explains it."

Glamour cites a study in the November edition of the Personality and Social Psychology Bulletin stating that men are intimidated by smart women.

Now I know you're thinking, Michelle, last week we watched your inability to label all 50 states in under five minutes... and you're right.

I'm not like a certified Mensa member over here or anything, but I have been known to compete in standardized test taking games and in high school, I took more than my fair share of AP classes.

So, there is a chance that someone somewhere is intimidated by me, because I'm smart.

The study says that men act like they're interested in dating women who are as smart or smarter than they are, until they actually get the chance to... then basically, they're terrified. It's a possibility that if you're smarter than a guy, it makes them question their masculinity.

Which this "smart" girl thinks is ridiculous.
