The convention, Golden-Con: Thank You For Being a Fan, will be something Golden fans have never experienced.

Yes, there have been other 'Golden Fan' gatherings, like this cruise...

But you can't shake Blanche's drink at the one coming to Illinois in 2022.

People waste their time pondering whether a glass is half empty or half full, I just drink whatever's in the glass. - Blanche

Whether you feel most connected to Blanche, Sophia, Rose, or Dorothy, you're probably going to love everything this convention will offer. It's not like a typical "comic-con" convention either.

Check out some of the activities on the itinerary:

Hell In a Handbag’s Production of Golden Girls: The Lost Episodes

“The Greatest Gift” vendor’s market

A gallery of “Instagrammable” photo-ops

Appearances by guest stars, producers, and others directly connected with the show

“Grab that Dough” Trivia competitions

“Mother of a Solid Gold Dancer” Disco Party

Pop-Up Rusty Anchor Bar

“You’ve Got Style” costume parade of characters (starring–you–the participants…)

…and MORE

There are a few big questions in your head by now, I'm sure. I bett I can guess the biggest.

You will get the dates, ticket information, etc., in a moment; the real important question is if Betty White will make an appearance.

New York Post shared this,

organizers said they are “working diligently” to secure a Betty White appearance in some capacity — but even if she can’t make it, co-producer Balof said the timing is perfect for Golden-Con.

Why is the timing so perfect? The Golden-Con convention is a few months after Betty turns 100-year-old.

The dates are April 22-24, 2022, at Center on Halsted in Chicago.

Ticket prices have not been announced nor has an exact on-sale date. You can find all the listed info here.
