There must be something in the water this week; or should I say food? This is the second major food recall in days. Earlier this week we told you about the Hostess cupcake and donut recall, now a long list of granola products are being recalled over possible listeria contamination.

Before you hit the trails at Rock Cut or put together a beach bag full of your favorite granola snacks, you'll want to make sure they're not part of this recall.

The FDA says the following are affected:

  • Clif Bars: Nuts & Seeds, Peanuts/Chocolate/Raisins, Mojo Sweet & Salty
  • Kashi Trail Mix Chewy Granola Bars, Bear Naked Soft Baked Granola, Cinnamon & Sunflower Butter
  • Nature Valley Granola Bars: four flavors of the Chewy Bars and Simple Nut Bars
  • Quaker Quinoa Granola Bars: Chocolate Nut Medley, Yogurt, Fruit & Nut

There haven't been any reported illnesses at this point, but if you have any of these products you'll want to discard them or return them to the store.

If you're not familiar with listeria, here's what to look for: diarrhea, stomach and body aches, headache and fever. Not exactly how  you want to spend a day on the trails or at the beach.
