Old Illinois Bank is Now One of State’s Most Unique Eateries
Looking to take a quick road trip this Fall to see some of the beautiful Illinois foliage, but out of new places to go?
I have found the perfect place to spend your Saturday afternoon. Our state has tons of unique little eateries. This one just might top the list though. It's a little restaurant located in Leroy that is nestled inside an old bank. And the locals love it. Every time I'm in a new city or town, I always ask around to see where I should eat. And that's how I always find the best spots.
Old Bank Restaurant is open Wednesday - Sunday serving breakfast, lunch, and dinner depending on the day. They are known for their farm fresh food and rustic decor. You can't make reservations unless you're eating with more than 7 people, so make sure you get there early. Leroy is about a 2 hour drive from Rockford, located just south of Bloomington/Normal. For the exact location and hours, here is their website.
